It's been a while since I posted a BJJ rolling video on Youtube and on this blog.
In this video, I wanted to show you how I've been incorporating Priit Mihkelson's Defensive BJJ style into my training.
Over the past few months, I've been really focusing on this style and so far it has made rolling way so much fun for me.
The style allows me to work less while keeping myself safe from most attacks and opens new ways of offensive strategies using well-timed counters.
In this video, you'll see me using the style in both defense and offense.
In defense, I use the four main Defensive BJJ posture namely the Hawking, turtle, running man, and panda positions to defend and counterattack with a sweep.
And in offense, I make sure I control the area between my opponent's armpits and knees to maximize control and stabilize my position before going for submissions.
I hope you find this video helpful.
